Research Workshop: Designing High-Quality Research Using a Mixed Methods Approach

The Doctor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud), successfully organized a scientific article publication workshop titled “Designing High-Quality Research Using a Mixed Methods Approach.” This academic event was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the MM Building, 3rd Floor, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

 

The workshop featured an expert guest speaker, Prof. Drs. Bernardinus Maria Purwanto, M.B.A., Ph.D., who provided a comprehensive exploration of strategies for designing high-quality research. Through his extensive presentation and an in-depth interactive discussion, participants were guided through the systematic procedures and stages of combining qualitative and quantitative methods—known as mixed methods—within scientific research.

 

This initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for students to strengthen their analytical skills and research methodologies. With a proper mastery of mixed methods, participants are encouraged to produce sharper, more innovative research that can successfully secure publication in various reputable journals.
